1.4.0 was a minor update for Team Fortress 2 Classic. It was released on January 4, 2015. The patch notes can be found on the archived TF2 Classic thread (post #678). It featured some weapon changes, and general changes.
Changes
- Changed Nailgun(sic) spread
- Changed the nail projectile gravity back to what it used to be, as per request.
tf_model_muzzleflash
no longer needs to be executed by the server owner- Added a "
MuzzleFlashModelScale
" keyvalue (defaults to 1.0). If set in a weapon file, it will set the muzzle flash model scale. Right now, however, it's not used in any of the weapon files yet.
