1.7.3 was an update for Team Fortress 2 Classic. It was released on January 26, 2015.

Changes

  • Fixed the jointeam unassigned intel exploit
  • Added kida23’s fixed models
  • Added chowder908’s modified player and v_models that allow for additional skins
  • Added NassimO’s GRN and YLW textures
  • Added hud_combattext and tf_dingaling (Billy2600)
  • Added a in-game weapon switching menu by MrModez. By default, it’s bound to M
  • Removed tf2c_4play and replaced it with a map spefic(sic) keyvalue in tf_gamerules
  • Fixed the YLW dispenser using the GRN image
  • Fixed the GRN and YLW flamethrower fire
  • Fixed a bunch of missing particle errors
  • Added FissionMetroid’s new GRN and YLW particles
  • Fixed the BLU and YLW voice icons
  • Updated the loading icon (Blaseth)
  • Updated weapon names (fixed scatgun)
  • Fixed idle anims
  • Updated FGD
  • Added the “YellowLevel” material proxy (you will no longer need to remove $yellow or YellowLevel from your vmts)
  • Fixed the beta RPG reload anim
  • Added the Cyclops
  • Textures by Nassim0
    • Medic Backpack not done by Nassim0 yet, used RubberFruitFace’s GRN/YLW color masks
    • Gibs used RubberFruitFace’s color masks
    • Soldier sleeves used RFF’s color masks.
    • Engineer and Pyro “eyes” don’t go yellow. Needs a custom “eyes” texture with an alpha layer to prevent $color2 from affecting the eye coloration.
    • HWM models do not have 4 team skins so please refrain from using HWM player models for the time being. I tried, but there were compiling issues about flexes and well, fuck that shit.
