Normally, killing the VIP will reduce the timer by 30 seconds, which allows RED team to win faster, while BLU team races against the clock. The VIP has special abilities himself that supports his team, including a defence boost for teammates near him, and his [[umbrella]] that grants mini-crits on friendly targets.

The Civilian has no combat training, is four-feet-ten on a good day, won't appear anywhere except VIP mode, and wouldn't even staff his Northampton horse ranch with filth like you, but by God, can he capture points.
