The Double Down update, also known as 2.2.0, was the third major update for Team Fortress 2 Classic, released on January 24th, 2025. This was the latest major update since the Fight or Flight update in 2023.
For a brief time, the name of the new Soldier weapon was misspelt as Admirality Anchor on the Day 3 page. In the patch notes released on Day 4, it was spelt correctly as Admiralty Anchor.
