VIP Race is a symmetrical variant of the VIP game mode, in which more than one team have their own VIPs. On each team, one player will get randomly selected to be the VIP (who will then play as the Civilian), unless another player gets voted to be their team's VIP.

Despite the game mode fully existing and working, only one map is known to be worked on, known as 'vipr_2bridge'. However, if a map is prefixed with vipr_, it will be considered a VIP Race map.

Because of the lack of released maps, there are no official standards for how a VIP Race map's goal system should work.

Trivia

  • Due to "VIP" being an initialism for "Very Important Person", the technical full-name of this game mode is "Very Important Person Race".
