The Crowbar is the default melee weapon of the Mercenary. It's a crowbar with a faded red stripe in the middle.
On hit, the Crowbar does 65 points of damage, with a critical hit dealing 125 points of damage - able to instantly kill a single Scout. It's equal to the Bat in swing speed, being 37.5% faster than other melee weapons excluding the Bat, allowing the user to land multiple strikes (and potentially critical hits) in a short period of time.
